The Hunger is a race in which each vampiric player must optimize their card deck, hunt humans to gain victory points, fulfill secret missions, and eventually acquire a rose and return to the castle before sunrise. The more you hunt, the slower both you and your deck become, which will make it harder and harder to get back before daybreak. Can you become the most notorious vampire without burning to ashes at sunrise?

During the game, players spend "speed" to move their vampires around the map, hunt humans worth victory points, and add new cards to their deck.

The game ends at dawn, after which the surviving player with the most victory points on their cards wins!

Clank lite...ish

It has some Clank vibes and I do believe there is room for this and Clank in your collection. The Hunger plays over 15 rounds where you play as vampires and hunt humans for points.

As in clank you can head all the way to the end of the map and gather a Mcguffin for additional points but this is optional. If after 15 rounds you are still out you burn and only count your points for fun.

The art is stellar and fit the goody theme. Recommended.

Great little version of gloomhaven!

I love Gloomhaven, but can't get a group together and solo it's too fiddly to be worth getting out. This version is set up played 1 round and back in box in less than an hour. It scratches that itch just right too.

De la poudre au yeux

Je me suis fait avoir par le hype. Pas certain que c'est mon type de jeux.
Ce que je peu en dire pour l’instant repose plus sur les composantes que l mécanique.
Le point faible des composante sont les cartes. Je comprend que le jeux est pas couteux mais quand meme, les cartes aurai mérite un grade supérieur. Elle sont courber et les jetons sont telement leger que ca cause probleme.

Sinon pour ce qui est de boardgamebliss. A1 comme d’habitude

I like the weight and roll I get from these dice. I used them mostly for counters with my Lorcana games.
